TOPIC: FORGET NOT HIS BENEFITSS
TEXT: Psalms 103: 1 -22
Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, 0 my soul, and forget not all his benefits:” (Psalms 103:1-2)
HALLELUJAH! Benefits are things or factors that aids or promotes well-being, it can also be seen as help, assistance, charity, advantage and so on.
When talking about not forgetting the benefits of God, it means to always bring before you, God’s help, assistance, love and His advantage you enjoy as a result of His benevolence.
Forgetting is an act of dismissing from the mind or to stop remembering and acknowledging what has been done.
From our opening scripture, King David found
himself in a position of blessing the Lord and how he did it was by bringing to himself all that God has done for him. Remembrance is one way we can really bless the Lord from our heart.
Sometimes, when you find yourself in a position of ingratitude, all you need to do is call yourself to remembering all that God has done to have you where you are presently. Blessing the Lord will flow naturally. As believers we are products of the words we say.
If we live a life of murmuring and complaining everything around us begins to look likę, what to murmur and complain about. But, when we give our words gratitude and thanksgiving, everything will align to it.
Everything will make gratitude and
thanksgiving always be present in our words. The way to blessing the Lord through our words and actions is by remembering His acts. Hallelujah!!!

PRAYER: Father, I praise and bless you today as I remember all your benefits in Jesus’ name. Amen.
