Be Courageous

“So David prevailed over the Philistine with a
sling and with a stone, and smote the
Philistine, and slew him; but there was no
sword in the hand of David.”
1 Samuel 17:50
Glory to God! One word for you today – Courage! What
you are afraid of is afraid of you. David confronted and
prevailed over that which harassed the entire nation of
Israel because he had the courage to face what seems
scary to face. What are you afraid of? Losing? Well, it
will happen anyway when you don’t do anything. When
you confront your confrontation, there is only one
thing that can happen – It is either you win or you lose.
Even the confrontation is scared of losing too. So
capitalize on the reality that you will win if you dare to
win. David brought down a scary confrontation and he
didn’t have to use a sword. Most often all you need is
already all you have. Use it, don’t coward away into
fear, have the courage to prevail. Hallelujah!
Father, I am confident in your assurance of victory, so,
therefore, I obtain grace to be courageous in life’s
confrontations in Jesus’ name.
